Well with this new signing we have made no exception. Everyone please give a warm welcome to Boy Crazy (http://www.myspace.com/boycrazymusic).

All-American super group Boy Crazy is a 4-piece rock band from Baltimore,MD. Boy Crazy has been able to establish and build a growing fan base in their hometown, currently without a vocalist. Now I know you are saying... “WHAT??? No vocalist??? Are they CRAZY???” And the answer is YES! With a live show that completely caters to the audience, Boy Crazy has become more than just a musical act. Every show becomes a party from the time they load in until the time they leave. With a self produced light show and a merch table that becomes the hangout of the night, Boy Crazy has become something worth checking out.

We here at Emerald Moon Records are excited to announce the release of their debut EP/DVD “Whale Songs to Kensington Garden” in March of 2006. With this release, Boy Crazy will be set apart from its peers. The excitement and spontaneity of their live show can be heard and seen throughout the release. The EP, featuring 7 un-released tracks will be accompanied by a full-length DVD including live tour footage, interviews, and the most ridiculous gaggle monsters you have ever seen. Boy Crazy’s live show rules middle schools with its self produced light show and conga lines. Check Boy Crazy out on at Myspace (www.myspace.com/boycrazymusic) where you can view a video trailer for the release, and catch them all winter and spring on the following dates. A special hometown CD release show will be announced later this week.

Haha, I'm not an expert, but people that think Saves the Day would sign to Emerald Moon Records certainly know less than I do. I've been involved in some aspect of the industry for about a year and a half now, I don't know everything, but I know a whole lot more than a lot of people who think they do - probably you! Show me some statements that show I know nothing please, or else your statement is invalid.

Recher = home to 90% of the crappy Baltimore-area bands. Not saying Boy Crazy is one of the crappy bands, just saying Recher is home to all of them ;)

Can't remember why we never played at Saint Johns, I think we had 2 or 3 offers for shows there, some with decent bands, so I guess it's not a bad venue. Phoenix though, never heard of it.

I was one of those 'idiots' who thought it could be Saves the Day. Keyword being thought and could. I just want them to get signed already. So whatever label is pushing a new signing, until Saves the Day is offically sign, I will keep guessing its them.

I'm sure STD has a ton of offers. It's not like people aren't interested in signing a band that will sell no matter what - I'm sure STD is weighing their options before they leap into anything, and it will most certainly be a bigger label than Emerald Moon, which doesn't have adequete distrobution.. This is a pretty key contract for them.

I won't speak for them but I imagine an LCD Soundsystem-esque singer would do the trick, seeing as how their music is similar in both content and creativity. I think it would work, but maybe they have something else in mind.
