I replied to the quote.

The : '1 Quoted Message' is there.

It's kind of annoying. Does it go away?

but yes, it does go away after a bit, just ignore it until it does

It does not go away until you 'mark forums read' (which is on the bottom of the Forums page).

It goes away after a while. No big deal. You can mark the forums read, or just close the site for a while.
