Your coach is just becoming a whiny bitch with comments like these about having to play a few tough teams in a row:
"It's very disheartening to look at scheduling and see that. Granted, TV is important, but it shouldn't run the league, which it is."
Their schedule was at Cincinatti, home vs UConn, at Pitt and at Louisville, a stretch where they went 1-3 as expected (no, they can't beat Pitt)
You can read the rest of the Yahoo Sports article on it http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news;_ylt=AlQLpVfALPdqPk_9bQ5I9ebev bYF?slug=cnnsi-quityourwhining&prov=cnnsi&type=lgns
Another couple interesting things in it that could change seasons very quickly
• A head coach whose team has played Memphis this season tells me that Darius Washington can't go left
• Do not -- repeat, do not -- give up on Kansas. (I like the way he thinks)
• Rick Barnes deserves a lot of credit for masterfully reorganizing Texas' offense by moving Kenton Paulino to the point and shifting Daniel Gibson off the ball. The amazing thing about the switch is that it has made Paulino a better scorer and Gibson a better passer. (he was meant to put up 15+ points and 7 assists in a game, and if he does that, Texas can challenge Duke and UConn easily)
PS: take a look at his seeding of teams, it makes me wish he had Lunardi's job, I only disagree that Tennessee and Florida won't lose again and drop themselves further (Florida plays UK soon, watch for Kentucky to make their bid for the tourney in that game):
SEED REPORT
WASHINGTON, D.C.
1. Duke 2. Villanova 3. Gonzaga 4. Tennessee
ATLANTA
1. Memphis 2. Michigan State 3. Wisconsin 4. UCLA
MINNEAPOLIS
1. UConn 2. Illinois 3. West Virginia 4. Washington
OAKLAND
1. Texas 2. Florida 3. Indiana 4. Pittsburgh
Note the Big 10 dominance of the top 4 seeds
