View Full Version : Another recommendation thread
Hey all --
I decided to find 100 new bands this year because I was getting sick of the crap I was listening to.
Half way through the year, but only about 40 bands deep. I'm looking for any and all band recommendations...and which album of theirs you like best as well.
Most recently I've been listening to ska, ska-punk and punk (ramones style 3-chord stuff). Eastern Standard Time, We are the Union, Bomb the Music Industry!, Dopamines were some hits Guts, Leftovers, Project 27 were some bad misses.

There are a lot on there that I've heard and don't really care for at all/don't listen to that much/used to be into, etc., but I like:
stars
sunny day real estate
kings of convenience
yelle
fugazi
shy child

robyn

I guess. Probably a few I accidentally deleted. There were a couple on there that I haven't even heard mentioned anywhere in aaages.
