EA Sports has no reason to make an NCAA Hockey game. They only made NCAA Baseball because they lost the exclusive MLB license.
here's the exclusive licenses i know of:
NFL: EA Sports (madden)
NHL: none
MLB: 2K Sports (or whatever the fuck it's called now)
NBA: none

The MLB one is only third party rights. So other companies can make games but they can only come out on one console.

No way, if they're in college, they missed they're shot at the pros. Anyone who has a chance comes out of some junior league or semi-pro Canadian league. They play as long as possible there, then start college when they're 21, 22+.

I hope that is sarcasm. Anyways so many good players in the NHL came from NCAA. The only way you should play in the CHL is if your guaranteed to play in the NHL one day like Phaneuf, Crosby, Spezza, etc. Get an education while playing hockey if your not a sure shot of making it and my buddy knew that and he went NCAA and got drafted and he will play in the NHL as a 3rd/4th line player. So many of those guys that play in the CHL are going no where and then end up not getting an education after and work shit jobs the rest of there lives. Obviously the quality of hockey in the CHL (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) is a lot better but the NCAA still has some great players. Gees right now they have Kessel and Jack Johnson.

it's true that most future stars come out of the junior leagues and such, but college players do make it to the nhl, they're just usually not the team superstars.

i don't get nhl network or leafs tv. that blows.
and i don't think michigan state is a terribley tough draw. i think they're the weakest of the top seeds. but jeff lerg, their small ass freshman goalie is playing out of his mind. he was just the MVP of the ccha conference tourney and is listed at lik 5'7" and is probably closer to 5'5" or so. but they're a pretty solid defensive team with some scoring punch though. but i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't go far. on the whole i think miami is the better team even though msu beat them in the ccha finals.

correct. that dude's a fucking beast. set michigan record for most points i believe by a freshman defenseman. i would personally rather play michigan though, their goaltending is far from good. it's either ruden, a senior, who is only a decent backup, not a starter, or this freshman who's really shakey.

ahh, i get mixed up. So you consider the wolverines to be michigan and you consider unh's opponent to be michigan state?
yeah. it's The University of Michigan (wolverines) and Michigan State University (unh opponent) are the two official names of the schools. i just noticed you're from canada. that's why you get nice hockey coverage. i almost creamed myself getting 2 games here on tv from the WCHA, let alone being able to watch the entire ncaa tourney.

Wisconsin is no longer the number 1 seed. and they are divided into regionals with seeds 1-4.
Go cats
yes they are. They are the overall number 1 seed.

Holy shit dude thats crazy. Winnik is the man. My family has season tickets so i go to their games all the time and my parents even go to most of their away games lol. That is awesome. UNH deserves to do so good this post season. I hope they do.
Theyll be lucky to win a game if they play like they did against BU. If they get their act together they can win their region.

This is the coverage I'm getting.

If Boston College can get their shit together and play like the did in the middle of the season than i see the team doing very well.
As long as we dont play BU who have owned us all season.

wisconsin is peaking right now. they may have lost to ND but their overall play over the past few weeks has been steadily improving, and they just shut out the #1 team in the country in their home state. Brian Elliot (a hobey baker candidate) appears to be back to normal from his injury, and the badgers have virtually home ice throughout the tournament if they keep winning. sorry, but this is their year.

yeah. i just know that no one from the ccha will win the national title. but i do hope scott parse (university of nebraska-omaha) wins the hobey baker. but that's 'cause he's from here in portage.

Hmm hes from Newmarket (which is only an hour north of me) and my age. I've never heard of him. I probably played against this guy at one point. Only if I could see the teams he played for prior to college.

"Before Elliott Was a Badger: Junior Hockey: Played for the Ajax Axeman of the Ontario Provincial Junior “A” Hockey League (OPJHA) ... named the OHA Top Prospect for 2002–03 ... saw action in 39 games for Ajax during 2002–03, posting a 3.86 goals-against average and .903 save percentage ... attended Newmarket High School ... a Canadian junior ball hockey all-star goaltender"
that's from the team website.

I never played Junior A, was close though. I'm just wondering prior to junior tho, oh well. His stats this year are absolutely amazing.

i didnt realize they're down to a final 10 voting. Poultny from minnesota is winning by quite a bit and Elliot is in 4th, so I'll be voting for him every day. Him being out for 4-5 weeks didnt help at all, but his numbers come from the tougher part of their schedule.

yeah, i forgot that he was hurt for a few weeks. i'd like parse to get it, but it looks like poultny is going to win. which is hard to argue with, he did edge parse out for the nation's lead in points.
