Below is the press release for the upcoming pureVOLUME.com (http://www.purevolume.com) tour, which features A Thorn For Every Heart (http://www.athornforeveryheart.com), Hit the Lights (http://www.hitthelightsmusic.com), Boys Like Girls (http://www.myspace.com/boyslikegirls), Keating (http://www.keatingband.com), and Drive By (http://www.drivebyworld.com):
February 22nd - March 30th

Coming to a city near you! The tour will also be stopping in Austin, TX for a very special SXSW showcase.. more info on that to be announced soon. A Thorn For Every Heart's follow up LP will be out Summer 2006. Hit The Lights debut album will be out April 11th. Boys Like Girls hit the studio with producer Matt Squire in April. Look for Keating's EP available via Smartpunk.com in the next couple weeks and Drive By's debut album will also be out April 11th.

Win a demo session with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco, The Receiving End of Sirens). You will get your cd submitted to labels and be a purevolume pure pick. All you have to do is drop off your demo/cd in the entry box at A Thorn For Every Heart's merchandise table to become eligible.

Rules & Regulations: The winner will be announced by April 15th, 2006. Contest winner will by picked Matt Squire. The demo session will consist of 2 songs in no more than 3 days. Scheduled session to be determined, but may be subject to change.

Umm, some people like seeing bands in a small, intimate setting.

I don't care if a band's huge or not (I still love Fall Out Boy), but when I'm seeing them with 4,000 other people, it's not the same.

I don't see the difference. I saw All-American Rejects @ Birch Hill in NJ before it closed. There had to be less than 200 people there. I saw them again at a bigger venue and I think I was more into the crowd than I was when I saw them at Birch.

Boys Like Girls will make it huge this year I think, they deserve it though.

yeah definately i saw fob at a bar with 200 people a couple years back in bowling green, oh, and it is definately not the same feeling as seeing them with 10,000 other kids at warped tour...oh the glory days

yeah dude hit the lights is def. the next fall out boy and i dont know how boy like girls came out've nowhere but they've only been around for not even a year and their doing huge tours like this? thats insane!

Holy shit. Bands actually coming to Memphis. And good ones at that. I got into Hit The Lights from that AP.net CD, and i look forward to ATFEH (again) and BVG, too.

HTL should come to back chicago before the next tour they're on.. but i doubt it.
