Here are my recs for this week.
Blackpool Lights (http://www.myspace.com/blackpoollights) - Jim Suptic from The Get Up Kids' new band is so good. This Town's Disaster is going to be a great CD when the public gets their hands on it.
Less Than Jake's (http://www.myspace.com/lessthanjake) b-sides album B Is For B-Sides is quite awesome and overlooked. There are so many kickass songs on there that are just waiting for you to listen to them. Give this CD a shot if you're a fan of both Anthem and Hello Rockview.
Remember Maine's (http://www.purevolume.com/remembermaine) 2003 album The Last Place You Look is pure bliss. If you enjoy The Academy Is, you should like William's (he was "Bill" back then) previous project, which consists of ten mind-blowing acoustic songs.
The Rocket Summer (http://www.purevolume.com/therocketsummer) is a great band that I'm learning to reappreciate, especially Bryce's latest album, Hello Good Friend, which was in my top 20 releases of last year. I dare you not to sing along at extremely high volume.
That's all I've got for this week. Stay safe, stay cool, and stay in school.
