Hi.
The Fully Down (http://www.thefullydown.com) - Don't Get Lost In A Movement: Just got into these guys recently, I recommend their Fearless debut album, it does remind me a bit of older Thrice.
Adair (http://www.adairmusic.com): Their Warcon debut album, The Destruction of Everything is the Beginning of Something New, releases this February 21, and you can listen to a few of their songs off the new album at their PureVolume page (http://www.purevolume.com/adair). Check them out on the Taste Of Chaos tour this winter too.
blink-182 (http://www.blink182.com) - Dude Ranch: Busted this gem out last night, I love this album so much, it's my favorite blink album by far. Bust out this album and some other oldie but goodie albums you listened to back in the day.
Other:
The Corpe's Bride comes out on DVD this Tuesday, it's only $14.99 at Circuit City, I recommend picking this up.
Buffalo Wild Wings - Went to eat there this weekend, so good. I recommend the boneless wings.
Have a great week friends.

My good friend Chris (elemenohpe) checked in with recs this week:
Music:
Head Wound City - What happens when you take two members of The Blood Brothers, two members of The Locust, and the guitarist from Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's and let them make music together? Head Wound City. Grind influenced noise-rock that flew right under the radar last year.

Kaddisfly - Progressive rock for fans of Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive. Their newest album Buy Our Intentions, We'll Buy You A Unicorn was easily the most overlooked album of 2005. These guys can do the quirky progressive thing, they can do the indie thing, and they can also bring the mosh (check out the track Akira). You can stream the aforementioned album in it's entirety on their Purevolume. Look for their new release, Set Sail The Prarie Sun sometime in late spring/early summer. I'm expecting album of the year material.

Last Perfection - Not since As I Lay Dying's sophomore album, Frail Words Collapse, have I been excited about a metalcore record (mainly because I don't consider Between The Buried and Me metalcore)... then I heard Last Perfection's debut full-length, Drawing Conclusions. Clocking in at about 30 minutes, Drawing Conclusions should be taken as a "How To Do Metalcore Correctly" guide. The band spices up the otherwise generic chug-chug-chug with plenty of instrumental interludes that keep listeners enthralled. Also, best bass work on a metalcore record, easily.

Genghis Tron - Ho-ly shit. If you have not heard this band yet, get off your ass and check them out. Their debut, Cloak of Love, was my favorite EP of last year. These guys play a unique mix of grind, metal, techno, ambient, jazz, and even a bit of hip-hop styled beats. They are about as unique as it comes. Their debut full length is one of the few records slated for this year that I am very, very excited about. Check these guys out if you're looking for a breathe of fresh air in the otherwise generally bland world of grindy music.

Nickelcreek - Staying up late has it's advantages. Flipping through the channels around 3AM one morning, I stumbled across an episode of PBS' Sound Stage featuring these young country/bluegrass stars. I was absolutely blown away by their musicianship. Their songs were extremely complex without coming off as "look what I can do" noodling. The best part is that I could easily hear a metal band doing adaptations of their songs and them sounding absolutely epic.
Television:
The Boondocks - Easily the best show on [adult swim]. The first season just ended (10 episodes in all) so if you start watching tonight you can catch the first episode and start watching from the beginning. Think Chappelle's Show type language/humor meets a Arrested Development-esque intertwining plots meets anime. I know it sounds outrageous but trust me, it's fantastic.
