For those of you who missed the post last week, I wanted to see if anyone else had questions for As I Lay Dying (http://www.asilaydying.com). Go ahead and throw your questions/comments/facemelting praise in the replies.

How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootie pop?

Not sure if it was asked but.........

Were the songs for Shadows.....,written with the intent to have sung choruses adding a more melodic side to the songs and band, or was that a last second thing that was added to some songs.... and will we see anymore of that in the future.....

most people ripped the singing but i thought it made it better.

What's up with pretending to be extreme and metal, but actually pushing a dubious christian agenda through generic metalcore?

Ask them who did all of the singing parts on their cd and what band he is from.

Do they ever want to tour with any of the bands on metal blade who are not in "The scene"
Do they get respect from other bands on the label?

"How do you go about writing lyrics? I understand its harder because you guys are a Christian Metal band, so you can't write those typical Metal lyrics."

2. Who sang the clean vox on Shadows?
3. What newer bands out there do u guys like if any?

Ask how exactly they jacked the beat from Living Sacrifice's "Bloodwork" on "Distance is Darkness" and whether they realized they were doing it. Seriously, worst ripoff of a beat since Vanilla Ice (there's one extra tom hit every other time through I think).
