Last night I went to the first date on the Attack Attack! tour last night in their hometown of Columbus, at their starting venue, The Basement. Supporting acts were Of Machines and Watchout! There's Ghosts.
I wasn't too impressed with Of Machines. The singer had a good range on recording, i just didn't think they were very good live. Watchout! There's Ghosts was good, a lot better than when i heard their recording.
Attack Attack! was next, and they absolutely killed this time. Being my 7th time i knew what to expect, but they were certainly better than the last time i saw them. The new singer is not nearly as good as Austin, but he does a good job.
The Setlist was as follows, in order
Hot Grills, and High Tops
Stick Stickly
Shred, White, and Blue
Bro, Ashley's here
Party Foul
Catfish Soup
What Happens If I Can't Check Myspace When We Get There?
Dr. Sharvargo Pt.3
The Peoples Elbow
All around it was a good show. I love that they prefer to play The Basement when they could be playing Newport. Although, if The Basement was a little larger it would be better. Also, i highly recommend you check out the bands My Ticket Home and The Hi-Fi Horizon. They're local bands from the area that opened for this show.

Attack Attack is not big enough to play The Newport Music Hall. Be serious.

Attack attack shouldn't ever be big enough to play any venues anywhere.

I heard of this band yesterday when my friends tumblr'd the hilarity of their music video.
Upon seeing this video I agree with this statement.

Haha, I wish you were correct and I also wish I couldn't say that their album is a very guilty pleasure of mine.

Was Attack Attack the headliner? If they were, I'd be pissed that they only played 9 songs. When I go to a show, I expect a lot from the headliner. When I saw deftones in summer of 07 they played 22 songs. Blink will be playing around 25-30 on this tour. Not saying Attack Attack is a huge band thats selling out arenas, but I need a little more than 9. Then again, they only have one album. In the future that number will go up, I assume.

Good AA set... Ima fan and im pissed I couldnt go to the show since its three hours away from my house, but I do agree.. I didnt think they were big enough to do a headlining tour yet. And Im upset im missing them but whatever Ill just catch em at Warped. It wasnt worth a 3 hour drive
This isn't going to end well.

yah but also they only have like 4 more songs after that set list so i can see why they didnt play more. however i wish they would have had another song(i was at the show) but oh well. one thing thats good about them is you will proabbly hear most of the songs at any set. like i imagine warped tour set list will be almost the same
lollerskates @ this "band"

There's quite a big difference between a show like this, and a show that blink or deftones would play
