i think i remember matthew pryor saying he was at a really low point when he wrote those songs and didnt want that to be what their next release consisted of.
they were great songs though ..i'm pleasantly surprised to see such a quick release date.

Nobody carss, TGUK need to get back together, the new amsterdams should die. (excpt for the guy who would reassemble to make TGUK)

First off, TGUk, that was one of the first shows i attended back in 2002, the get up kids are what got me into music today. Secondm don't list GATSBYS american dream as one of you favorite bands and spell it wrong, hypocrite.
you are the epitome of a newb. the get up kids have been around since 1994/1995, i dunno if you are aware of that. maybe you shouldnt have hopped on the bandwagon so late and you coulda had plenty more of them. sorry to anyone that thinks this comes across as all elitist, but when you bash matthew fucking pryor and the amsterdams, you deserve a history lesson.

1. the get up kids have been around for way longer than 2002, try like 1995 or something
2. if you just got into music in 2002 you are probably too young to be talking smack like that
3. gatsbys american dream technically does spell their name without the apostraphe, even though that is the correct way to spell it. if you don't believe me, go look at their website, album covers, and merchandise.

I know Ryan and Robert were both involved in the recording of Worse For The Wear and Robert and James were involved in the recording of Kill Or Cured (I'm not sure about the earlier albums).
I don't believe any TGUK other than Matt are in the band anymore. I'm pretty sure they're now a four-piece consisting of Matt, Bill Belzer, Eric McCann and Dustin Kinsey.

I like "Worse for the Wear" more than any GUK release, so to say I'm stoked for this is an understatement.
