I just saw this show 3 different times, in New York, DC, and North Carolina. So that right there should tell you how awesome this show is. Dillinger is just fucking insane live, I have seen them before but for this tour all the places were pretty small and it was just crazy. If you haven't seen this band before you need to see them soon. I didn't even plan on seeing them 3 different times but each show just got better and better.

In New York I saw them with Stray From the Path who were really awesome, make sure you keep an eye out for their new cd because their new material is intense. A really fun band to see live, they were the primary reason I went to the new york show. Here is their set if you are familiar with their material:
New Song
Villian
Spectre and His Mantra
Fragilant (New song)
Capital
Make Your Own History (New Song)
The White Flag
To Vanish

Knife the Glitter is a crazy band, it might not be your thing but they are different from anything that you ohave seen. They are completely instrumental, no vocals, and it is Dillinger esque type music and they are just a cool band to watch, its only 3 guys are they are all really talented.

Number 12 Looks Like You were ok, but thtye were pretty dissapointing. I kinda like their new material but I havent listened to it much, and that is all they played. All their songs were either off Worse Than Alone or Mongrel, absolutely nothing off of Nuclear Sad Nuclear. Overally I was just tired of seeing them. But in the NC show there was a really funny thing that the singer did, he was trying to get couples to get on stage for a slower song, and he got one couple and then these 2 dudes got up there trying to be funny or whatever, and then the singer said "ok now you have to make out for the whole song" and then one of the dudes jumped off stage but then another dude came on stage and these 2 dudes just started making out for like the whole song, it was actually pretty funny.

Anyway, dillinger was fucking insane, they go crazy like always, one of the best (if not the best) live band around, there is no one like them. I saw them 3 nights in a row and they only got better each time, it was pretty rediculous. The set was a really good mixture of old and new songs, it definitley pleased the crowd, there was no covers which was a little dissapointing but they played for at least an hour every night and each song was just back to back. They kinda planned an encore but they dont even get off stage they just keep playing the songs instead of going off and waiting to come back out. Here is their set, there was only one song I didn't recognize it was an older one but I might figure it out later (they played pretty much the same set every night but mixed up the order a littlle bit):
Intro
Fix Your Face
Sunshine the Werewolf
The Running Board
Milk Lizard
When Good Dogs Do Bad Things
Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants
Lurch
Sugar Coated Sour
Horse Hunter
Baby's First Coffin
Come To Daddy
Mouth of Ghosts
Panasonic Youth
43% Burnt

Come To Daddy

Also, the older song you were missing was "Destro's Secret." I caught the Raleigh show, and it fucking ruled.

That would have been my guess but I guess it wasn't that.

Yeah I think the best one was either Raleigh or the DC show. I think they sounded better and went a little crazier in DC cause the venue was even smaller then the Brewery, but there weren't really any rules at the Brewery so kids could do a lot more stuff. In DC I stage dove once and was immediately put in a headlock by security and almost kicked out, so that stuff kinda sucked, it was nice not worrying about that kind of thing in NC.

Amazing show last night

The Number Twelve set was.
Glory Kingdom
The Garden's all Nighters
The Weekly Wars
To Catch A Tiger
Jay Walking Backwards
Don't Get Blood On My Prada Shoes
Marvin's Jungle
Sleeping With The Fishes, See?

Same Dillinger set.
Amazing night, all those bands are just so energetic and just pure crazy.

#12 are just really nice guys as well. Talked to them for the rest of the time after their set.

I like #12 ok and they seem like nice dudes, but for me Dillingers performance just made them look like a joke. Also Greg from Dillinger is one coolest dudes in music, really nice guy.

Dillinger did have an amazing performance as well.

But #12 being one of my favorite bands for a while just made it better.
And Dillinger does have amazing energy.

that sucks that they played only one song not off Worse Than Alone/Mongrel.

I saw them in Pontiac, and #12 were the main reason I went. I loved it. Not sure if I can remember all the songs, I've never been to good at that type of thing, but they played (in no particular order):

Glory Kingdom
Given Life
Marvin's Jungle
The Garden's All Nighters
Jay Walking Backwards
Sleeping With the Fishes, See?
The Weekly Wars
The Proud Parent's Convention Held in the ER

I don't think there was anything off of Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses, pretty sure that's all of it right there. Anyways, the show was awesome. I talked to them a little afterwards, and even though I don't know a whole lot of technical stuff, I love listening to Jon talk about drums. They were all cool.

Dillinger also kicked ass. Understatement of the year, of course.

I wasn't too sad about that actually. I love both of those cds
but i would've liked some more songs from Rosey Red

Just to be clear, Come To Daddy is actually a cover. Yep, Dillinger recorded it with Patton, but it's originally an Aphex Twin song.

Anyway, I saw this the other night in Toronto (minus #12). Just amazing. Come To Daddy was the highlight of the show for me, I hadn't been checking setlists so I wasn't expecting it all. Plus that new intro bit was damn cool... and simply no other band can beat Dillinger's energy onstage. The new drummer is great.
