Woo, glad to see they got at least one comment, haha. What's your favourite album by them?

I love Let's Ska and Rock Steady, has some great tunes on there.

Only heard Engine 54, Woman A Capture Man, Dread Prophecy, and Clap Your Hands. I'm assuming from this thread that I should pick up Let's Ska next.

Yeah, I'd Let's Ska and rock Steady or Reggae Power, both are worth checking out.

as many people know, this is my favourite era/music culture ever. i love these guys, huge early ska/reggae fan. not even the great soul artists of america can top some of those early, mesmerizingly pure, vocal harmonies of jamaica. reggae power or slave call is perhaps their strongest work, engine 54 is great though. although (given many of the song titles) trains seem to be on their minds a lot haha

Yeah Reggae Power is great.

I know what you mean about trains, it's the same with blues music, so many references to trains, haha.
