Hey guys, this isn't really usually how I write, but I wanted to give this style a shot, tell me what you think!

The Ocean

You are the sun
that burns me away
into the airwaves.
Breathe me in, so lightly
so the taste of salt water
and how you know you'll always be her daughter
reminds you of me.

I don't wanna leave
I am the ocean,
you've got my bones shaking
you're breaking my great barrier reef.

You're sunlight
gives my body life
I'm sure I'll be alright.
And my lungs are flooded out
with words I said to bend and break my doubt
but I'm getting used to this now.
