I really love this cd...

Hopefully this can clear up anything regarding Seth/Watashi Wa/Eager Seas:

T&N asked to put it ("All Of Me") on there because it will make the cd easier to market and the video for Love of Life was going to be included in the album. There's a phone inteview with Seth that explains it right here (http://www.emotionalpunk.com/interview/7/).

Taken from the interview:
Because the label had spent money on the album, and the label wanted to make money back that they had spent on it, which Seth mentioned “totally makes sense,” they offered Seth a chance to release it under the name “Watashi Wa”. This way was with a completed, nice music video for “All Of Me” included in the multimedia content under the familiar name, and while it wasn’t entirely ideal for Seth, it seems to be make sense. “Ideally, I would’ve wanted to release it as a different name, but it did make sense to release it with the familiar name for the album to sell and push,” Seth stated. So it seems that while things were a little blurry with Seth’s final record on the label, they found a nice compromise, and he seems happy with it. “It makes sense,” he contentedly remarked. “It’s one of those things that, ideally, they would’ve liked it to be a different way, and I would’ve like it to be a different way; but this is the best possible situation for both of us to be okay with, and I’m happy about that. The album is finally coming out.”

I agree 100% with this review...very accurate score. Track 7 is awesome though.

I think this album has a few incredible songs and a few mediocre ones. 2:57 and 10 Years are easily two of the best songs I have heard in the past year. That being said, I think the review is pretty fair. Nicely written Gabe.

Similar to mine, but I was a little nicer. It'll be up in a couple hours on the The Battalion (http://www.thebatt.com) website, along with my review for Jenny Lewis's Rabbit Fur Coat. I'll send it in for you guys to rip on.

I find this whole "How can Tooth market this album, under different names, old songs, new amazing songs from Seth" very interesting and "unique" to the public. Watashi Wa? Eager Seas? Who Cares. Solid songwriting, any word on what (if any) label Seth is going to put new stuff out on?
