My names Matt, hello....oh by the way, saw Bayside in Columbus on the first show of the tour and my friend is best friends with the guys in Punchline so we got to hang out and party with everyone and watch the show from the side of the stage. It was an awesome night. Pline and Bayside were soo amazing you just have to go to the show to see what its like. Sullivan also put on a pretty tight set.

Kirill. I used to book some shows back when the Twirps were still around. Remember when Bayside played the last Twirpentine's concert

yeah it was sweet...the Meadville paper actually devoted the whole "our generation" page to Beatz when he passed and the girl who wrote the article posted a few pics from that show.
I just lost a friend to a drunk driver about 2 months ago. And this song put me in tears. It's beautiful

Really? I bet Naila Rahmen wrote the article. I haven't been in town for quite some time now. Have you checked out Signal Home, or were you never into that music?

when winter falls
next year i'll be holding on
to anything nailed down
as for being patient
if fate at all is getting old
and my mind is slowly changing
im calling all my oldest friends
saying sorry for this mess were in
and i'm waiting, waiting
for the sun to come and melt this snow
wash away the pain and give me back control, control.
an angel got his wings
and we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine
and i'll be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime
should we still set his plate?
should we still set his chair?
should we still buy him gifts
and if we don't did we not care?
it makes you think about the life you've lead
the shit you've done, the things you've said
and it's grounding, grounding.
i've been feeling three feet tall this month
hardly indestructible
but the snow melts, and the rhythm still goes on
an angel got his wings
and we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine
and i'll be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime
friends stay side by side
in life and death you've always stole my heart
you'll always mean so much to me, it's hard to believe this
these nights in vans
these nights in bars
don't mean a thing with empty hearts
with empty hearts
an angel got his wings
and we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine
and i'll be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime
friends stay side by side
in life and death you've always stole my heart
you've always mean so much to me, it's hard to believe
so much to me, it's hard to believe
so much to me, it's hard to believe this.
damn good song

Really good song, just like all their others!
If you're in the Denver area don't miss Bayside playing at the Marquis Theater (20th and Larimer) on Thursday, February 2nd. Punchline, Sullivan, and one of Denver's best local bands My Silent Farewell will be opening up. Going to be a big show for sure!

not to mention they started touring acousticly. they most likely wrote some acoustic songs dedicated to him while on their van driving to their next venue.
anyways incredible song. i've always loved bayside so much and this song has shown a whole new side to their band. amazing.
