I'm surprised there wasn't one of these already, as always post anything BT.

I was lucky to get my hands on III[as many have already and I have read on the board]
This is a album you need to listen to with headphones in and no distractions. I listened to it while on my computer and didn't really think much of it. I work overnight in a Grocery Store throughout the summer, so I listen to music all night long and zone out basically stocking the shelves.

The second time I listened to it the whole way through with zero distractions it was better, and everytime I seem to enjoy it more. This may be my favourite BT album, It just seems like a really, really complete effort in my opinion. Some will say it is their slowest album to date. In my opinion it's also seems the darkest[obviously as with the other BT albums there are songs about suicide you come to expect from them].

There are some badass riffs, and some interesting themes throughout the album. Thus far it might be my favourite album of 2009, too early to judge. I think alot of people will listen to the album one time through and not like it at all, thus never going back to it. It's a album you have to give a few listens to fully come around to it.

They are Headlining Edgefest next week, I will be there but unsure if I will see them[I intern at the edge]

Thoughts?

I didn't know this was out.

I love this bands riffs and general guitar work, but some of the lyrics are terrible.

I heard the album leaked a while ago, I think I've seen a link for it but I haven't downloaded it yet.

Love this band though. Pretty unique sound.

If you love their riffs, they are a few absolute fuck you-rock out type riffs throughout the album that you'll enjoy.

I find III to be about as good as II, ie it's pretty decent throughout with a few standouts, but not as good as their debut.

I could never get into them because of the lyrics and vocals.

I'm not feeling this record at all. II was pretty great, but this feels like it's missing something. Will give it a bit more time though....

Yesterday at Edgefest they sounded AWESOME. Played Devil On My Shoulder, Rusted From The Rain, Saint Veronica and Turn Your Back off the new record. Played the usuals: Try Honesty, The Ex, River Below, This Is How It Goes, Line and Sinker, Devil In A Midnight Mass, Surrender, Navy Song, This Suffering, Fallen Leaves[not all in order obviously],

Ended with Red Flag, Encore was Nothing To Lose, i'm sure they played more.. I gotta be forgetting some songs.

Downsview was super muddy, it was pretty ridicolous.

I still haven't checked out III, but I like their previous releases. The special edition of this album sounds amazing though.

haha hey now! I'd like them regardless if i was from Ontario. It's crazy how huge they are here[sell out the ACC in a heartbeat] and in the states they'd be lucky to sell out a venue of 3000.

It's pretty amazing that 7years ago they had to make a stage just so they could play to the line at edgefest 2002 in barrie and yesterday they headlined. Talk about a cinderella story.

I haven't heard III yet, but I heard that it was pretty bad. I need to give it a fair shot.

I've come to the conclusion that the self titled album is one of the best albums I have ever heard.

Ah, I love this band... Don't really understand the lyric complaints though. He sounds fine to me.

Just realized these guys have been on our Canadian radio stations/ Much Music and I never really paid attention to them. Just say diamond on a landmine vid today and I just love it, and love the song. Have they always been this poppy?

no, their new album is much softer than their other two. I highly recommend their first album. Their second one is awesome too, but they work with different sounds in that one.
Wow, I was tired when I wrote that. Just saw*** and they have been all over tv/radio for a while is what I meant.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I never rembered them being an easy listening band.
K, I shall check them out!

I like that this dude sings like a pirate and talks exactly the way that he sings.

Awesome band, deserve more recognition! Everyone hates on iii but its still a decent album, granted not as punky as their earlier stuff. Speaking of which my copy of iii has gone awol, anyone email me the track files?
