The reason we have "Official Threads" is so that we don't have 50 threads about the same band. If you want to make a comment about a band, all you have to do is use the search function and comment in their official thread.

Also, did you expect us to be talking about rap and county in the music forum on a "punk" website? Of course the majority of bands talked about are indie, hardcore, etc.

there's nothing to worry about if you're joining to genuinely get amongst it & enjoy discovering music. i enjoy meeting great new members. it's of no concern if you're opinion on certain bands etc is a little different to those of others. i've been here a number of years, & ask any music forum regular, my opinions are often a little... different at times haha. but that's all a part of what makes for a good discussion, personal perspective should be embraced. take no concern with being new here mate. the musical world is a large, diverse, beautiful & bizarre place, with a hint of magic weaved into it. as a music fan, you owe it to yourself to explore as many paths as you can, for you never quite know what you might just discover...
