The blues, in my opinion, is the best and most passionate genre of music. Every genre of music is based off of the blues, but i feel that the blues are sadly unknown to most people of this generation, despite some of the amazing blues guitarists that are out there today.

Blues rocks.
Blues rules (generally):
Line 1
(passionate short expression) Line 1 (expression may also go here)
Line 2
Line that rhymes with Line 1
Classic.

and includes some sort of response from a guitar or other instrument in between those lines, in which makes the music so good.

big blues fan, but i'm not sure about bringing them back, there's still great blues & blues fusion music being made, & i wouldn't want any exact retreads of past greats. the new derek trucks album is really good & more more straight forward blues as opposed to his earlier work with was much more blues/world (which i enjoyed more). robert randolph & the family band's (blues/funk/rock) new album on it's way next month, etc
