its one thing to like two teams in the same league... but the same CONFERENCE? i dont think that flys.

what's even worse is when people say they like USC and UCLA...I mean come on they are rivals, you can't like both. That is like saying I like the Yankees and Red Sox.

im a huge nash fan so i root for the suns, but im from the bay area so i like the warriors too. I don't see a real problem in that

I don't see the problem. It's not like it's the same division. That'd be bad, since they play each other twice a year.

i dont think pro is going to matter as much in here, personally im more a fan of pro sports...but most in here prefer college i believe

i'm not one of those people you are mentioning, but it doesnt make any more sense to me that you can be so passionate about boston sports but then root for a team from the new jersey/new york area, regardless of the sport. i find that no less weird then someone who likes the spurs and suns, for instance. to each their own though. it doesnt make you any less of a sox or celtics fan, just like i don't think it would make that spurs fan any less of one for rooting for the suns on the side.

I am failing to see why that's weird in the least. I like the Sonics, Suns, and Mavericks. What's wrong with that? I'm interested to know. 3 teams that aren't rivals...
