true, but I'm still going with fall - coolness of the air, leaves changing color, football starts, baseball playoffs are beginning, and it's cross country season.

Fall - There's kind of a cool electricity in the air, it's the season of new beginnings, and not to mention to beautiful colours.
Winter - Snow is so pretty, also fun to play in (skiing/snowboarding/making forts/tobogganing/snowball fights). Also hot chocolate.
Spring - Freshness, warmth, and seeing the flowers bloom. And I love the sounds of birds coming back.
Summer - Swimming, popsicles, sunshine, and the carefree feeling.

if i lived in chicago i'd probably hate winter too. but it doesnt get so cold here. its winter here at the moment and everyday its been around 17 C which is like 62 F.

Lucky. 62 degrees in chicago is grilling weather...actually anything over 50 degrees is. haha The summer this year hasn't been so bad. It's been about 70 degrees (that's a miracle)....it's usually in the high 80s or mid 90s. For me, that extremely hot weather is death. The winter here gets below zero a lot of times but it's usually between 13 - 25 F.

Chicago's an awesome city so I try not to complain too much. :)

i guess its probably relevant to where u live, some people summers might be brilliant like Sydney is great, but in Northern Aust im sure they prob like Spring more as summer gets to 40 degrees C, and is probably ridiculously hot, or some ppls winters have snow n fun stuff like that and others are just cold rainy and miserable
or autumns are pretty averagely boring and ugly, but never been anywhere else for autumn (except Bali which rules!) so i guess i can only ever think of autumn being horrible

That definetly makes sense. Like I will always and forever think of winter as a demon season, but some places it's probably quite nice. And I'm sorry you're autumns aren't nice :-(

Summer definitely, the winter is just depressing and cold even Christmas time has become depressing. Spring is a relief. Autumn (fall) starts off well but gets cold in the latter stages in the UK. so Summer is definitely my fave unless it was last summer then that was also depressing as it didn't stop raining.

Fall because lots of good movies come out, its the start of a new school year, its not as hot down here, and the trees are beautiful that time of year. Spring is a close second for me though.
