There are small "play" buttons next to each song title. I just clicked on play...and it started playing...haha. sounds simple enough...maybe the buttons aren't showing up for you.

I hate the new pureVolume
Especially this layout

But those songs are pretty tight
That first one is pretty good, the delay in the beginning kind of bothers me.

This is going to be one lucky winner. The prizes are SIIIICK!

the last one is the best by far. robot whatever. really good. actually remixed it instead of just cutting up the instrument and vocal tracks with some reverb.

agreed. i liked the last song the best.

definitely...

i wouldn't be surprised if it was done by a professional or student going into that sort of field

'hurricane wilma remix' is so good. and 'glass otter' is a worthy attempt.

These ones sound sweet! I remember the one that won the copeland remix contest wasn't anything special at all. I guess the $4K in recording equipment inspired more people to try.

I like how beautiful the first one sounds, although I do not like the delay.

The songs are great BUT personally I dont think its fair the the artists that the order isn't randomly generated...I mean, I think you'd be suprized how many people are gonna get to like the third one and be like this one roXOrrrrzz!111 and vote without hearing the others...especially casual fans of thrice...at least random would make that less of an issue.

I really dislike glass otter, because i hate that kind of music, but with that aside, it is very good. I like the first one the most. And i think the pause you are all talking about is the song loading, cause i dont have it, try listening to it after its fully loaded(the play button will be blue).

will someone please tell me a program that does what that dude did on the last song?

Basically any nice sound editing program should be able to do it... provided that you know how to use the program... it definitely sounds like a vocoder effect to me...

anyway, I have to agree, I found the "Glass Otter" version disgusting....

the "Coulour of the Invisible" version has a very Franz Ferdinand vibe in the instruments and.... a kinda Daphne Loves Derby style vocal

I'm not sure what to vote for... I like both "Bombs over Vheissu" and "Ocelot vs Thrice" for very different reasons.

colour of the invisible sounds sic but it sounds like a band just decided to cover it.... wasn't the idea to remix the actual song?

the last one and first one have my votes... haven't decided on the final one yet
very creative people out there

hi, i made that remix and i used reason 3.0 as well as amadeus 3.7.1. the robot voice is a sawtooth wave modulated through dustin's vocals. the drums i cut up in a waveform editor [amadeus] and then sequenced using one of reason's drum machines. i'm pretty sure if you wanted to get those programs you could bit torrent them easily, but you didn't hear that from me, haha.

oh yeah, the version they have up there isn't the actual full version, i had an entire middle section with radiohead and stellastarr mashed up, but Island Def Jam Records wouldn't allow the radiohead sample, so i just looped out the entire thing. you can hear the full version at http://www.myspace.com/efsubenovex and if you like my other stuff, you should add me! i make cheesy techno music whenever i get the chance.

the colour of the invisible isn't actually a band covering it. it's one person playing drums, guitar, bass, and vox. he arranged, recorded, and played everything that you hear. he also integrated some parts from the band The Colour. you can check some more if his stuff out at www.myspace.com/jasonsuwito (http://www.myspace.com/jasonsuwito)

someone needs to rip all of these and make a sweet internet remix cd. they can IRC it or something....

fuck they should pull a bloc party and have a contest for every song, that would be an amazing fucking CD. yea thrice, if you are reading this totally release a Vheissu Remix CD, that shit would be hottttt.

so far the first 2 were great, im only half way through the Hurriucane Wilma Remix and im not a huge fan, though i think it has some strong parts, but some of it seems out of place.
