We had a huge party in the rain the other night. When my lady friend lost her flip-flops, I found them soaking wet on the lawn. Thinking I was being a hero, I put them in the microwave to dry. I figured that 30 seconds to a minute would do the trick.
Five minutes later she comes into the kitchen and asks what's burning. I guess I struggled setting the timer. They were ruined. Do I buy her a new pair even when she insists that I don't? They're like 30 bucks at the GAP.
