Uber stoked! Had a taste of "The End" and "Delusional" at the STD/SF concert... all I have to say is, thank the lord they've strayed away from the "In Reverie" album sound...
...come and dive in puddles with me... -std

the end is definitely fast and catchy. like saves the day should be, at least sometimes. i know it's been said on here before, but they will never write a better song than this is not an exit, it's just not possible. i absolutely cannot wait for this cd :) saves the day, nfg and say anything this year, can't wait!

Why can't there be one Saves the Day news post without someone knocking In Reverie? It's almost getting as bad as "John Nolan is Taking Back Sunday." Get over it kids.
Regardless, new Saves the Day album is gonna change lives. (oh. and In Reverie is amazing.)

Yeah the dissing on In Reverie got old in 2003. That was a very good CD. Very underrated. Anyways, I cant wait until the CD comes out. 2006 is going to be a good year in music
I'm hoping for a more "Through Being Cool" sound, I've been a little disappointed w/ the last few albums. Definitely stoked for this album and Hit the Lights.

No, no don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people not liking it. It's just getting old, sick of people bashing everything. let it go, look forward to the next album.

If you are getting upset with people talking bad about In Reverie "in every Saves the Day thread" you probably spend too much time on this site and need a vacation. It isn't that big of a deal. Focus your attention on something more worthwhile.

I tend to believe news on AP.net, since April 4th was just reported last week. I should start checking sources, oh well.

wrong words.
in reverie was an awesome album and people are musically challenged if they cant see the complexity of the sound the album created. also, chris has said that in reverie is his favorite song that he has ever written.

He said the RESPONSE to In Reverie was disappointing and that now when he goes back and listens to it that he is not happy with the way his vocals sound. Never once has he said that he was disappointed by the music.

Use a little bit of common sense and read between the lines. He is never going to say plainly "I think this album we made was a bad move." His statements were his way of telling the fans "We know In Reverie was a disappointment. We are aware of it and going to try and put forth a better effort next time" without totally criticizing himself, the band and the record.
If fans are going to use Chris' words to defend In Reverie they should be aware that he himself has said bad things about the record.

HAHAHAHAAH not a dick at all! I can't believe I f*cked that up as much as I sing that song (not well I might add)
Just thinking about this album gives me a musical boner.
