i really dislike this video. i wonder if they even had any input on the treatment and whatnot, because in the behind-the-scenes interviews they sorta seemed clueless as to what was going on. oh well. panic! is played on the radio here about 10 x a day now so i guess we should all get used to seeing more of them.

i can understand you saying the music isn't good, cause thats your personal opinion, but the lyrics are shit? is their two panic! at the discos, cause the one i listen to has witty fucking lyrics.. i dont think anyone can take that away from them... but whatever, this video is a good start for them..

I'm with you. It's not completely new or original, but it's catchy and it's not the same straighforward, emo "I want you back/Why are you with him and not me" things. My favourite being their take on the Sound of Music on Build God, Then We'll Talk

I went in with an open mind, and should have totally seen that video coming. I was bored 30 seconds in. Sure, good idea going with the Tim Burton type of deal that catches on with the mainstream crowd that likes this kind of music, but I think they could have done it a bit better with the kind of budget they have. I also love how you never see him mouth the words "god damn" or "whore" because the video was made for MTV.
