I got out of a ticket last night

I was sitting at the light changing music on my iphone, thought the light turned green, pulled forward, got halfway through the intersection and realized it was still red, but went for it anways because i couldn't back up. I looked in my rear view mirror, didnt see any cars/cops. I looked back and saw a car speeding up to me. so I was all ... fuck a cop saw me. He turned on his lights, so i pulled over.

Cop: -walks to my car- License and registration please

Me: -Hands him the stuff- Sorry about that, I've been on the road all day from san francisco and thought it turned green for some reason.

Cop: -looks at my stuff- why were you at the college? (I pulled out of my college/work)

Me: I work there, I had my car parked there for the week while I was gone

Cop: What do you do there?

Me: The front desk for the Campus Police.

Cop: Okay -hands stuff back- have a nice night
