No sir, fuck you. At the Drive In is infinitely better than ALk3. ATDI was musically way ahead of their time, and is in my opinion up there with The Clash, Nirvana, and Sublime in terms of talent and revolutionary music. Wow I didn't even notice that til whoever that was pointed it out. Wht the fuck did the Ataris overturn Green Day? I listened to the Ataris for the first time the other day with high expectations. Everything I've heard was "O they rock!" and shit like that, and I, personally, thought they were absolutely nohting special and I don't have any will to listen to another Ataris song again. Green Day, while I don't like their new stuff, I dunno whats wrong with it, it just sucks IMO, put out some kickass shit on their first 4 albums (Insomniac and before). Dookie alone would kill an Ataris greatest hits, IMO.

Ok I can appreciate at the drive in being revolutionary, when i heard one armed scissor i thought that was amazing and have been a follower since, but I'm also really into alkaline trio....I don't know how you can say his lyrics are no good. I think talent wise they are an average band, but there are lots of great musicians who never get heard of because they can't fuse with other people. But getting back to the lyrics thing, I think they have some of the cleverest lyrics ever. The song private eye in itself is incredible...."I never had a drink that I didn't like, had a taste of you, threw up all night" - crawl I mean that's just really smart lyrics...so say whatever, cuz i think ATDI was really revolutionary, playing stuff like that when it wasn't really popular, but don't bash on the trio cuz they too rock my socks
