My buddy listened to the whole cd and thought it was total garbage...however...he is very old school punk rock..ska...etc.

He said it was too "arty" haha.

From this song it is definitely going in the Muse direction.

"Goody, Like 2 Shoes" is by far my favorite track of this cd...the bridge of that song, it just reminds me of how pumped I used to get when I first started listening to music. Definitely a few notches up from the last one...

this song starts off the album well...because it builds and builds, and by the time andy is shouting at the end, i've got chills up and down my back. and i just love the way it ends the way it starts. and it goes perfectly into track 2.

this album is one of the best things since black people invented peanut butter. this band has worked hard to break away from the "shitty sophomore album" curse. andy has really improved his singing. you can feel his emotions.

I think this album is great. I couldn't stand litsening to them on warped 03' but last years was way enjoyable on a day to day basis. It says a lot when you can remember the chorus from "goody, like two shoes" before the album was even recorded.

this song kindof reminds me of radiohead more than muse. but muse reminds me of radiohead too. both bands are better. I don't think I'm liking this that much. i listened to both songs a few times and i didnt remember a single part of either song.

i think voices is a completely different album than stories... which is a good thing. stories and alabis was a good cd, but i dont think i would have enjoyed another 12 tracks of the same thing again. you can run is a very different way to start an album, but i think in the end... it was a good choice. surrender is reminiscent of their previous album, but is a really good track. my mannequin can dance is one of my favorites on the album, really well written track (except the drums in the intro dont really do it for me). im still trying to get into goody... it reminds me alot of my chemical romance and dont get me wrong, its a great song. monsters was placed perfectly on the album. right at the end of a slower song, almost half-way through the album. another favorite. all in all, this album was more than i expected, and definitly deserves a second listen from all of the doubters.

Great cd. I thought the first cd(stories and alibis) was decent. I enjoyed it but it was like too much other stuff out, at least to me. I'm liking this much better.
