everywhere i turn people say, "oh all were going to do in iraq is bomb innocennt people and children". it isnt like that. yes there will be casualties, but not in the magnatude some of you others think it will. WERE NOT TARGETING CIVILIANS! we are so much smarter and stronger than iraq. its just so damn obvious. the us army is the best trained, most highly skilled military in the world. we dont go around killing innocent people. why do you think weve been preparing for such a long time? the military has carefully prepared for this invasion specifically to MINIMIZE civilian casualties. we took our sweet ass time, pretended to care about the UN, but mostly we knew we were doing this regardless and want to do it right. if we trully just wanted saddam out we'd just carpet bomb the shit out of them and ask questions later. but were not doing that. yes an army is made of men and men make mistakes, but america is not stupid, and we do value the lives of the innocent.
