I'm strongly opposed to war, but protesting against it makes you feel really weak and worthless, considering Bush doesnt give a fuck. I sort of stopped caring too.

a nazi deleted my post! AGH!

well my opinion on war is that i could care less. my opinion isn't going to change anything, neither are the opinions of all the protesters. so it's pointless even having one when we have a president that wants to kill everything.

i don't care anymore. there's nothing we can do to change things. we can only sit back and hope for the best.

bush is a moron.

we cant bomb them just cause we want to. they have not done anythign to the USA, just to the UN by breaking their resolutions....its up to the UN to sanction them, not for us to take over and start killing people. you cant just go and bully a country (even though saddam is an asshole), just cause we want to.

sure saddam sucks, he kills his own citizens, but he was also CHOSEN to serve in Iraq, and we have no right to just go in and do whatever we want, espeically withtout the unanimous suppoort of the UN and other countries.

its a personal thing for bush, he's trying to finish what his father never could, except he's not smart enough to dress himself, he has the fucking IQ of a dorito.

a few lyrics... you know how i do...

10 easy steps to create an enemy and start a war:
Listen closely because we will all see this weapon used in our lives.
It can be used on a society of the most ignorant to the most highly educated.
We need to see their tactics as a weapon against humanity and not as truth.

First step: create the enemy. Sometimes this will be done for you.

Second step: be sure the enemy you have chosen is nothing like you.
Find obvious differences like race, language, religion, dietary habits
fashion. Emphasize that their soldiers are not doing a job,
they are heatless murderers who enjoy killing!

Third step: Once these differences are established continue to reinforce them
with all disseminated information.

Fourth step: Have the media broadcast only the ruling party's information
this can be done through state run media.
Remember, in times of conflict all for-profit media repeats the ruling party's information.
Therefore all for-profit media becomes state-run.

Fifth step: show this enemy in actions that seem strange, militant, or different.
Always portray the enemy as non-human, evil, a killing machine.

THIS IS HOW TO CREATE AN ENEMY. THIS IS HOW TO START A WAR.
THIS IS HOW TO CREATE AN ENEMY.

Sixth step: Eliminate opposition to the ruling party.
Create an "Us versus Them" mentality. Leave no room for opinions in between.
One that does not support all actions of the ruling party should be considered a traitor.

Seventh step: Use nationalistic and/or religious symbols and rhetoric to define all actions.
This can be achieved by slogans such as "freedom loving people versus those who hate freedom."
This can also be achieved by the use of flags.

Eighth step: Align all actions with the dominant deity.
It is very effective to use terms like, "It is god's will" or "god bless our nation."

Ninth step: Design propaganda to show that your soldiers
have feelings, hopes, families, and loved ones.
Make it cleat that your soldiers are doing a duty; they do not want or like to kill.

Tenth step: Create and atmosphere of fear, and instability
and then offer the ruling party as the only solutions to comfort the public's fears.
Remembering the fear of the unknown is always the strongest fear.

We are not countries. We are not nations. We are not religions.
We are not gods. We are not weapons. We are not ammunition. We are not killers.
We will NOT be tools.

I'm not a fucker
I will not die
I will not kill
I will not be your slave
I will not fight your battle
I will not die on your battlefield
I will not fight for your world
I am not a fighter
I'm in UNITYYY!!!

pardon me while i quote myself, i also forgot to mention that americans need to also realize that saddam wasnt responsible for 9/11....we're losing focus of who the real enemy of the USA is, the person who came over here and killed 5000 innocent fucking peopel

Well I don't think anyone wants to go to war but we do what we have to do. All those people who have been protesting have said what they want, now it is time to support our country. I also think that as Americans we forget that yes 9/11 killed 5,000 innocent people but there are so many other countries that have lost tons more people because of us. I just think that as Americans we forget how lucky we are to live in a country like this and if we aren't going to go ahead and support it's leaders we should just move to France!!!

Saddam wasn't "chosen", he assumed power by killing everyone that opposed him.

we aren't bullying a country just because we want to, we are enforcing the 17 UN resolutions that he's ingnored.

we had unanimous consent of the UN security council on resolution 1441, which called for saddam to "immediatley" disarm or face "seroius consequences". no country can say he's lived up to the obligations of 1441 and yet, no country is willing to enforce that resolution.

we do have support of 34 countries.

get your facts straight.

OH holy shit! You better be fucking kidding. You stupid, stupid bastard. Just because you live in America doesnt mean you have to show 100% allegiance to the leaders. If that were true we would be living in an authoritarian state, not a democracy.

If people actually adhered to the idiocy of your logic, than the lives of all who fought for our freedom would be lost in vain. The greatest thing about Democracy is that people have the right to express their disagreement with their government. Are you honestly suggesting that we forfeit that and just shut up and become victims of conformity?

People who want freedom cant expect it to be easy, or just to have the freedoms they like. To paraphrase The American President, a terrific movie:

Democracy isnt easy. Democracy is advanced citizenship. You've got to want it real bad, because its going to put up a fight. You wnat freedom of speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man who is standing centerstage advocating at the top of his lungs that whcih you would spend a lifetime arguing at the top of your own. If we want to call AMerica the land of the free, than our symbol cannot just be a flag, but it must also be that same flag burning in protest. Sing about that, teach that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Than you can stand up and sing about the land of the free.

As far as war goes, I am totally opposed to wars of all kinds. War is a last resort and we are giving up on peace way too fast. Presidential ratings, oil money, and Bush's daddy's name lie in the balance, so of course our monkey of a President is eager to get Saddam.

There is no immediate threat from Iraq, however. If Saddam could get us he would have done it already - he already has nothing to lose. He doesnt have weapons that can reach us - he doesnt have transAtlantic missle capabilities. The administration is lying to the American people. They are telling people that the majority of hijackers are Iraqi, and that Saddam funded Al Queada, but neither of these outrageous claims have been proven.

The majority of the world, and myself see this attack on Iraq as unprovoked. Remember that fall day in 2001 when the US of A suffered an unprovoked attack? Remember how angry and sad we were? Thats how the rest of the world feels, only the anger is pointed at us. We are inviting, begiing for another 9/11 by going to war. We are provoking them.

This is not Democracy, this is not self-defense, and this is not in the best interests of anyone. This is foolishness, this is murder, and this is Western Imperialism at its best. And this is why the rest of the world will continue to hate us, to hunt us, and to kill us.

Is that what you wanted?

Holy Shit!! Calm down and yes I was kidding about the France thing. Although, I do think that people have said all that they can in protest to the war and now it's time to stop. Not that they have to totally agree with everything Bush says but they shouldn't call him a moron and an idiot. He's our president whether we like him or not. That's all I was saying!!

YOU ARE SO WRONG STOP TALKING!!

we get terrorist attacks regardless of WHAT WE DO!! we never did anything to anybody to be attacked on september 11th, you are completely wrong, if some big guy beats the shit out of you do you say," man i wanna go try to fight him again" or do you avoid him, that is what we are doing, we are showing terrorists that they can't consistently attack us without us doing ANYTHING about it, we have to stand up for ourselves and not cower back and take more and more blows from terrorism

we are not provoking MORE blows by whooping their asses, that is some kind of wacked up logic, after this war no terrorist is gonna want a piece of us for a long time
