What. the. Fuck?

$45 for a seated fair show? ugh. I hope both of these bands play their own headlining dates in Seattle. So lame:(

Wtf is going on...I would still go since I can't go to the Troubadour show in LA. So strange though.

Just pay the $45 bucks if you want to see them, or don't and stop whining about ticket prices. Nobody cares.

My tix for the Troubadour show were 29 plus ~$10 in fees and I'm driving 10+ hours one way from Utah to go. Why? Because it's worth it to me.

Hmmmm... Maybe I should go start a new thread about it.

I'd love to see these bands at the same show...

I got my tickets for like $37 on presale, only a $4 convenience fee otherwise.
And I am hella stoked to see both of these bands. I can't fucking believe this happened and I'm so glad I live in Oregon. I'm going to Amtrak it up there and whatever else I need to do because I shit my pants when I heard about this.
Not to mention the fact that both have new albums coming soon. Jesus.

I went.

Tommy Gun
Sic Transit
Jaws Theme
Sowing Season
Archers
Jesus
Gasoline
Bride
Degausser
You Won't Know

I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed. I got my hopes up thinking they miiiiight play more new stuff, but instead I saw basically the same show I've seen for the last year. Also, seated shows, rain, and Coheed fans just added to my disappointment. The only part I really enjoyed were the little things Jesse said between sets like, "Try the scones, they're delicious," (they are) and mentioning that he enjoyed the livestock.

That is a pretty solid 10 song set though...but yeah I figured they would hold off on the newer stuff.

Can't wait til October 13th!
