I'll be interviewing A Static Lullaby (http://www.myspace.com/astaticlullaby)this weekend. If you have questions for them, please put them in the replies.

In other news, the band has added John Death to their lineup. John was previously in Adair.

Did the fact that a major label released your last album affect the change of sound?

Ask them why nobody can accept a mature and good album.
Faso was good, fa sho.

ask them what lead to the falling out with the ex members, as well ask them how writing with john has been going, and is steve evetts still lined up to produce.

Because it wasn't mature, it was simplistic.

This should hopefully be quite a bit better than their last effort, John Death writes some pretty catchy shit.

adding john will defiently help make the next album not suck as much. Cant wait to hear some new stuff to hopefully back up that statement.

faso was a good mature album as already said. i think the reason people like ADFTB and not faso because they just cant get over the generic screamo sound thats been goin around

even though they were one of the first bands to make that sound popular

Ask them how sweet it is to have someone in their band named Death.

The fact that you say this means you have no credibility whatsoever on the subject.

I'm sorry but you just do not know. I say this because you want a trend let us talk about hardcore bands going soft over the past two years. Need good examples, listen to Underoath, or Dead Poetic. Precisely what A Static Lullaby did, dropped their sound and made a rock album that was nothing short of dissappointing.

I've been wondering where they get the inspiration for their lyrics...

And what's going on with the new members and such...
