Who here has heard of Jay Ryan (http://www.thebirdmachine.com/)? Seriously, this guy has some of the best artwork out there. He has done tour posters for bands ranging from Riddle Of Steel, Iron & Wine, Interpol, Built To Spill, The Appleseed Cast as well as a HUGE Converse Shoes layout that was featured here in downtown Chicago. He also fronts the magazine Punk Planet. You can view some of his work by clicking here (http://209.35.57.253/books/100_posters_excerpt.html). Let me know what you think!

The posters are amazing. He is very talented. They are more like works of art to hang in your house rather than concert posters.

I saw this guy on some nightly news show on PBS. He seemed like a really cool dude, talking about how he tries not to charge the bands too much because he knows how hard it is to be an independant artist.
Where's that Converse thing located Pat?
