Third or Fourth stanza is the chorus... dunno really though. Probably the third. I'll mess with structure later. Leave your advice. You never do. "I like it" isn't advice. Kthx. (Shauna, Tariq, others, that doesn't go for you)

Thanks to Tariq for the title... kinda.

This is for every time you lose the remote
This goes out to each and every dropped book
Remembering is only a thing for the past.
But if this July you mean it, I think this could last.

Choking in the bottom of your swimming pool,
And suffocating in the free open world.
Well, how can you see? How important y'are to me...
And if this July you mean it, then I guess I'll leave it be.

So go ahead, and look me in the eye
Stare me in the face when you say goodbye
And if this is the last bottle we share
Be thankful you are loved; Remember that I care.

My jeans remained ripped at the knees and my feet
But it's oh so worth it, oh so worth it
My hair has outgrown my face in long light strips
But it's oh so worth it, oh so worth it

terrible rhyme scheme, other than that, good.

def go with the third stanza as the chorus, leave the fourth as a slowed verse perhaps. The rhyme scheme is iffy, but it was pretty good

That was my original thinking, so I'll probably go with that.
