The trap is the epitome of what was wrong with the old NHL. Shrek Lamorello needs to give up on it, or kick the bucket so we can get some new blood in this league.

Teams who run the trap in the NEW NHL are ones that were too dumb to foresee a change coming in the style of play, so they continue to run the trap to accomodate for their slow-skating crusty players.

Teams like the Sabres got shoved the fuck around before the lockout, but the new obstruction rules work to their advantage, because we've got a bunch of skilled skaters.

This is just a lost season. What a disaster. Injuries have hit so hard it's almost unbelievable and it really highlights the lack of depth in the organization, although some of the kids from the Marlies have played pretty well.

Mccabe still needs to refine his defense, hes a great goal scoerer but only really shines on their half of the red line. We really need to get someone Brian Leech calibur back who can teach our boys defense.
