quite a bit. it was weird because we were over them by over 200 votes and literally over night--in lass than 12 hours--they were ahead by 100. i thought it was a little fishy (IP generator...?) but i'm not making accusations, good for them, it's just weird that they had 0 total votes for the first 2 days and then suddenly on day 3 they had almost 400. "shrug: oh well, these things happen haha

oh, it's coming haha. demoing tomorrow again. we've got 15/22 songs demoed full-band now. we're getting to the more difficult songs now, got most of the easy ones out of the way.

also doing a 4-song solo EP now. i'm working on a new AP blog as we speak, and it'll have all the info on it :-)

i know, man. my comp's out of commission, so i've had no way to get online and talk to, well, anyone haha. and i had a zip file with 6 new songs on my facebook wall from ashton at one point, but he removed it once he saw everyone & their mom taking it haha so i'll have to get a new link. we're hopefully putting finishing touches on "Bones" and "Disconnected" tomorrow, so maybe we'll be able to zip those with "A Part Of Me", "Do Me A Favor", and "Worthless", and if James finishes his ONE guitar lick on "Circles In The Sky", then we can throw in that one, too.

and i actually put it back into my car rotation again just yesterday. i have a ton of driving to do this weekend (4 shows, 4 cities, 3 days), so i'm going to give it yet another listen. the first two times haven't done much for me, but i want to like it so much that i'm trying again :-)

Awesome dude sounds great. I can't wait to hear it. Actually been listening to There's Always Next Year a lot lately. Miss you guys :). Still pissed you totally bailed on coming down to NY for a show and laser tagging. [as compensation I want VIP access to your first ever NY show :)] I haven't been online much either these days. Trying to avoid the fuckheads who randomly IM me and never shut up haha. I might have to create a new screen name for people I only want to talk to.

Hahaha I promise you once the album hits you you're going to love it. It might take a while. I try not to admit this ever but I didn't really like the album all that much the first 6 or 7 times I heard it but stuck with it because it was TSL. After that though it finally hit me how fucking awesome it is. Just learn the lyrics enough to scream along with the album. If you still can't get into it throw it out your window...again haha

And what ever happened to the super secret myspace page you guys had where you'd secretly add demo's and new songs and stuff like that? That was a badass idea. Bring that back

have you? that's awesome haha glad to hear it's had some staying power. i haven't heard that much, so it really is nice to hear that it can still be enjoyed months (and for some people like you, who've had the demos for forever, years) after people have it. and i've been talking to ayres about trying to do a mini acoustic tour out to the new england area for a week or so near the beginning of august. we're saving up money for it & discussing it. it's all tentative though, but if it happens, you'll be the first to know :-) and i'm never on AIM anymore for that exact reason, more or less haha just too many people, most of whom i feel bad if i ignore, so i just don't go on there at all much

i'll definitely let you know what i think again after this weekend of driving. it's the best way for me to get a real feel for albums.

and ya know, i forgot about that, but i may very well do that once i get updated MP3's of the song. remind me again here in the next week or so and i'll see if i can do that ;-)
