Whoa, this sucks. Well, not sucks, but needs a lot of work. So tell me all your suggestions. And actually help with this one.

I had a dream last night,
I was riding my bike through town
And every where I seemed to go
There was someone I once knew.
I drove up Olden Avenue
Saw the boy my sister thought was cute.
I went and rode over to the soccer fields
Where my best friend's playing frisbee with his dog.
Back at my own home, my dog was still running around
Chasing her tail, in the way dogs seem to do.
I rode on over to that one girl's house,
Though I knew she was too young for me.
She hopped on the back of my bike,
Wrapping her hands around me.
They stayed fit there like puzzle pieces
Til something shook them up.
We rode down Interstate 95,
No cars are on the road this late at night.
We stared up into the sky, watching for a shooting star.
I tried to look into her face, but it was too bright with starlight.
Her hair seemed to still contain the reflection of the sun,
Though the sun set about 3 hours ago.
It's as though it was a net, catching twittering butterflies.
We were riding back down to her house,
She'd sneek in through the window like she used to.
But the rain seemed to condemn us for our actions.
The downpour came, and broke off her hands,
The thunder crashed, and the lightning struck.
Feeling a sudden jolt in my back, I realized it struck me.
I woke up in a sweat, realizing it was just a dream.
Remembering I never learned how to ride a bike,
and that my sister lived on the other coast,
how my best friend just died last year from an overdose.
I remembered my dog died when I was just the age of nine,
and that that one girl who was too young for me,
she's now nothing more than a memory in my notebooks.
I realized I let my whole life slip away, writing, and writing, and writing...
words.
