C'mon man. Time management didn't lose this game. And after watching the Eagles' clock management last year, they made Holmgren's look like he was Vince Lombardi himself.

Of course it had a big impact. They should have had at least an easy FG to make before halftime, but they got nothing. And once it was 21-10 in the 4th quarter, they should have been in hurry up mode, but wasted a lot of time, and had to punt with a little over 6 minutes left, still down by 11.

Should have been a spike or two on that last drive.
Seems like the general thoughts are that Hasselbeck played a very good game, but I disagree. I know the drops by Stevens hurt, but the guy had all day to throw all game long, and he rarely hit any passes downfield. It was mostly all short shit that didn't lead to many points. The INT, I don't know where the hell he was throwing that one.

Are you serious? Good call, fire a guy who took a team, that no one really expected to do anything significant at the beginning of the season, to the Super Bowl. Not only is that dumb, but the time management was not all Holmgren's fault. If you watched the game you should have heard at the beginning of the second half that Holmgren told one of the reporters that he called a play and Hasselbeck audibled, and then he called another play the next down and Hasselbeck audibled again.
I also don't really see any big mistakes made by the officials that don't happen every other week in the NFL. If you are referring to Ben's touchdown, the ball did break the plain while he was in the air.
Other than the first quarter, the Steelers simply outplayed the Seahawks. The Steeler defense came up big when they needed to, the Seahawks failed to turn good drives into points, the Steelers capitalized on big plays, and the Seahawks defense failed to prevent the big play.

weren't the seahawks a lot of expert's picks to go to the superbowl the last 2 or 3 years?

uh that ball did not break the plain.
are you actually going to be dumb enough to argue that.
Aside from the "evidence" you'll try to find that it didn't, there was no angle that showed that it didn't cross, and the call on the field was TD.
That said, he had the ball held right around/above his sternum area when he dove, and taht part of his body crosse the whole white line, not just the front of it, so based on that, about 1/2 the ball crossed the plain, which = TD

Holmgren was retarded all game, and Hasselbeck Hasselbeck'd the shit out of that game. Terrible, terrible time management, I couldn't believe it. Reminded me of USC and Carroll. Also, that ball did cross, I thought it didn't at first and was pissed, but the more I saw it, you can definitely tell it did.

Like McNabb last year ... just because D-Mac threw for more than 300 yards doesn't mean he had a great game because he was far from it. Hasselbeck did alright, but he didn't make the plays when they needed to be made. On the other hand, as bad as Roethlisberger played, he made big plays with his feet, which helped to seal the game.

uh that ball did not break the plain.
first off, its "plane", not "plain".
second, it was god damn close, so even if they had reversed it it wouldve been fourth and an inch, now, say that did happen-qb sneak, touchdown. but even if they blocked him on fourth and an inch, seattle now gets it on the inch line. that would be horrible.

Mike Holmgren needs to be smacked for dissing Cowher at the end of the game. Go shake the mans hand, don't go running to find an official to cry to.
