Here's the thing about Avenged Sevenfold (the following is an OPINION so don't tell me how wrong you THINK I am.)

They are each extremely talented musicians. Excluding the singer every person in this band is very good at what they do. I however, do not like the singers voice (again this is an opinion.)

Secondly, I feel they are trying to reinvent themselves a bit to much. A lot of people are heard to be saying "I like the old Avenged Sevenfold." It seems as of now they are just trying to recreate themselves as the "New Guns 'n Roses" rather then simply be themselves. Maybe that's who they are but in my eyes that what first comes to my mind.
