i dont not like this song... but i dont like it either
the cd had some much better songs...
thank god they didnt chose london beckoned though.... that has to be one of the absolute worst songs i have ever attempted to listen to.
i always skiped it when i was listening to the cd

at least this one is a lot better quality though i guess...

i wonder if the spelling mistake was on purpose.
on that site to the right of the video they spelled tragedies, "tradgedies".
and on the cd it is definetly spelled tragedies

Its not really their fault that they didnt have to struggle that much. However this video is horrible. All I see is the singer with his gay makeup on. Where is the band? And this video reminds of that one The Used video that had this same theme.

That video blew. He needs to learn how to lip synch.
The should have used 'The Only Difference...' as a single. If that song doesn't hook the public, then nothing will.

how the fuck is it panic! at the disco's fault that they were from chicago and got signed to decaydence because pete loves them. no they didn't struggle that much, but thats not a fault to be laid at thier feet. jesus.

panic! is from las vegas.
it doesn't matter to me if they hauled ass across the country in a shitty van for six years to play vfw halls or not. they got lucky; what happens happens. if they had had to "struggle" before making it though, their stage presence and live show would probably be better, but hey, it'll come with time.

im tired of watching videos of these bands - how can anyone take them seriously with that fuckin makup?
Anyone else laugh at the Avenged Sevenfold issue of Alt Press photo shoot? They had an old couple tied up in some cheap motel - all the while the "thugs" that did it are so "badass" they had to wear eyeliner, tight jeans, and $75 bleached tshirts and a bunch of accessories. Seriously, what kind of thug goes around like that? Like "fuck yeah, I'm a fuckin badass - I just spent 2 hours on my hair and make up so I can rape you!"
But I digress. The video had solid production (probabaly a $20,000 and up budget) and interested people. Good costumes - but seriously, costumes like that don't belong in a music video where bands like this are playing. And the lip synching was distracting.

and to the people who said they dont care if the band struggled:
think about all of the most successfull bands to come out of the underground scene....Green Day, AFI, Rancid, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, Less Than Jake, NOFX, etc., etc., etc.
All of these bands worked their asses off and built fan-bases because of that. The underground scene used to be about people banding together in a sincere world of music instead of the inaccessible, cookie-cutter mainstream. These bans have hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of fans because they earned them throughout their careers. When bands just get handed "success" right off the bat, it is not only usually hard for them to digest, but unappreciated.
I'm not shit talking PATD because I don't know them as people nor do I like the singles enough to even listen to the album, but I'm on the train that says, "Respect bands who earn it."
Oh, and I think the video is cheesy as fuck. I'd rather watch Moulin Rouge anyday.

I will never make my decision as to wether or not I should listen to a band be based on how hard they have worked.The reason this band is blowing up comes down to one thing - 'Word of mouth'.You all love them being around really so that you can bitch about them at every opportunity and you have something to talk about i.e -'Hey I've got the thursday demos' 'great......Panic at the disco are shit'
Personally I love them and they show more talent in the second half of their record then most bands manage to on their debut,plus they were very,very good when I saw them with The Academy Is...

This happens to be my favorite song on the record, but i will have to agree the video for it sucks, and even though it may not be the best song to make a single, it sure hasnt stopped them from blowing up has it?

that's 2, and he hasn't worked to earn it because he's a fuck up who cant even get through a tour. i'd rather have panic! at the disco work up a fan base after getting paid than say anything disappoint the fan base they are "working" to maintain with these cancelled tours, i've had tickets to both and gotten screwed twice.
