A little update from Phil Pirrone's (http://www.philpirrone.com) (ex-A Static Lullaby) website is below.
We have begun recording guitars.....sounds great. I've been throwing up every morning. That's a little weird because I'm pretty sure I ain't pregnant. I have been throwing up all day today. Sucks....but eh, what can you do? I'm gonna go to the doctor about a bunch of stuff this week. Get my self checked out. Make sure I'm not dying. I think we've changed our minds about releasing a three song EP....I think we may actually release a full length album.......but that's still up in the air. Recording is going better than we ever thought it would. Pictures of the guitar set up coming soon.....videos coming soon....too. oh, also I'm super excited about Smashing Pumpkins getting back together. I loved the Zwan record, unlike some people I know....But, Smashing Pumpkins are one of my favorites.

I have no idea what this will sound like.

These guys need to put something better together then the last cd. I was never a huge fan of them, but after their latest release, I began to think they were terrible. It's gonna take a lot to overcome the last cd. This will be their 3rd cd, and the first two got little to no mainstream attention, besides a t-shirt in Hot Topic stores. For the sound they were going for, it's kinda hard not to get any mainstream attention. You gotta screw up big time.

They got a new lineup, I'm not sure if this band can stay together for to much longer.

But atleast they sparked my interest again, I'll download some new songs when they get them up on the net. And hell if I like them, I'll buy the record.

They didn't get any media attention, because they released mediocre music with hooks in just two or three songs. And I'm not even speaking about hooks that are credible...
Still, I'll hear what new they have to offer.

I hate people that bash bands just because it's the cool thing to do and jump on the band hate bandwagon. I also hate all the people in Buffalo that now have Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys, hoodies, etc. because they are the cool thing now. The last static Lullaby cd wasn't that bad.. I could see how some people would not like it, and every song wasn't great, but there were some pretty good songs on it.

There is kids here wearing Seattle Jerseys, just because..

I'm not seeing it as funny or cool. It's stupid, we beat them. There's nothing to brag about wearing a Hasselbabk or Alexander jersey.

I like The Buffalo Bills, I just wish they'd keep consistent and have a good team. It seems like they build, and they build well. Then when it's almost together, they get rid of someone, or not sign someone and they have to start over. I hope The Bills beat those damn Pats next year.

ill give this album a chance even though i have very low expectations for it, and phil needs to cut out the dirty hippy look.
