it can't not be funny, but the augmented success of Anchorman since it was first released leaves very high expectations

not sure it can live up... Ron Burgundy is Will's ideal character... Ricky Bobby is certainly in the Will arsenal, but it requires more of a stretch from him

Just got back from it, it was overall pretty entertaining and there were a lot of funny parts. But I'd suggest not going at a peak time, because you may get a few douchebags who think they are cool because they "get" the jokes because they're NASCAR fans. Ugh.

I went to see this with my friends during a matinee, mostly because I needed something to do before work. I didn't have any expectations going in and I ended up liking it. Some parts were drawn out (ex. the grace scene) and the kids went on too long verbally abusing the grandfather. It was funny once or twice then it just got old.
