snowboarding's always cool, but the last time I genuinely cared about the olympics is when the girl's gymnastics team won gold in 96. and if you weren't into that then you're lying.

the olympics are great. I don't know about most of the sports but it is fun to watch the best athletes in the world compete in them for one of the biggest honors in sports

I was actually more into it in 2000 because this girl I knew was on that team, not the '96 one. But yeah, I was into it, not gonna deny that.

Yeah, in 2000, a kid from my high school that I was good friends with finished 6th in the 200 freestyle I think, it was pretty cool.

I'm excited, although not as much as in 2002, I practically stopped doing anything that didn't involve watching NBC. If i did that this time around i would fail my classes.

the olympics should be getting a lot more publicity then they are getting:'(
I'll watch as much hockey as I can, and I'll probably watch curling for 5 minutes until the novelty wears off. Other than that, no.

outside of hockey and possibly snowboarding, i'd rather watch the goddamn pro bowl.
but choosing between the olympics and the pro bowl is like picking whether to dig your eyes out with a fork or a spoon.

haha, interesing way of putting it.
I love Curling and most of the downhill skiiing events, so I'll watch those. Also, wierd things like skeleton I usually watch, if for nothing else, to see someone crash. Likewise with Aerials and Ski-Jumping.

I'll be watching all skiing that isn't cross-country, all hockey games, a bit of snowboarding, and any attractive figure skaters.

It's funny, because Cross-country skiing is like Golf to me.
It's fun to do regularly, even better drunk at 1am, but kinda boring on TV, except for like the last mile or so.

Pretty easy to give a shit when you're going to be there Tuesday afternoon for two weeks. The Olympics are an amazing time.
