i think that whatever happens, a democracy will be installed in Iraq, it will NOT become a terrority of the us and we WILL NOT just "take" its oil, that's not what the war is about

i never said he wouldn't destroy his own country, but he is going to make it like the US did.

yeah, he wants to be remembered more than anything else. he wants to go down in history as the greatest arab leader ever. thats why i think he will go down in a blaze of glory that will take as many american soldiers lives as possible. (such as if he waits until they occupy baghdad and then detonates a nuclear weapon, or other WMD) he would think that this would make him a hero in the arab world.

yeah it would, i was thinking last night when i heard that 2/3 of the iraqi army might surrender soon, that it seemed almost too easy, and then i was thinking if i was saddam, i would draw america into baghdad, make it seem easy as if iraq was defeated and then surprise the world by detonating a nuke. no one knows if he has one so they might no be prepared for it. that would be probably the worst thing that could possibly happen.

2/3? that would be good, but also remember that there is a massive use of propaganda and pcsycological warefare going on...

i think that once it's close to being the end of the war, he might run away to some neighbor country, i'll doubt he'll die during the war though

Holy shit. When I read that, it sent chills down my spine. I seriously shivered. I hadn't ever thought of that. I pray to God someone kills him before that happens. Hopefully one of his leaders would stand up to him, like some did to Hitler, and use common sense. Wow.

It's a scary thought, but I still think he probably just doesn't have the technology. That stuff costs money he doesn't have, and takes a while to develop. I think that their soldiers will probably just bend over like they are doing now.

i dont believe he has nukes, but we already know he has chemical weapons. when israel destroyed their reactor and after the Gulf War, I think he considered it to noticable.
