This is the dumbest show ever. The judges anger me to no end, how can you let that old keyboard lady through and not some of the others.

The girl above really had trouble the other night with the Jewel song, but I'm glad she got through because she's got a real nice tone to her voice and I think she can be real good with some more time.

ugh, tonight was a bore-fest all the way through, save for that fighting gravity act. if they put all the good acts on the same night, i'm going to be pissed because only four of them can go through each week.

haha, hopefully debra's mixed in with a lot of bad acts to secure her place in the semi-final.

Yeah, I agree with DrStrong. I'm sorry but people aren't going to go watch some girl sing for an hour and a half in Vegas... they want something crazy and whacky.

I have to say though, this week obviously Fighting Gravity owned it. I also am DEEPLY in love with Future Funk.

My point is that some people with genuine talent, are getting pushed away for some bullshit act that tugs at the judges heart strings. I just hope the voting public will shut those sisters down before the finals.

Piers was right, the first half of the show was just horrible. i think Debra was actually one of the better acts tonight, and that's not just my love for her speaking. the other music acts were so disappointing, especially The Strange Familiar. my prediction is Debra, the bicycle guy, the dancer guy, and that last dance group will make it through.

I've seen that neck trick numerous times, I figured it was going to be mediocre, but then out came the "polo mint" haha i think thats what Piers called it.

He was awesome though, it seems as if thats how Criss Angel wanted to come across originally. Everything else from last night was wack, IMO.

that pianist kid was so vietnamese. i mean, i recognized his last name, but still, i could tell by just looking at him. so talented, yet so boring.

i don't know what i love most about last night, the magician's act, howie's reaction to his act, or sharon's reaction to howie's reaction.

everyone else was pretty terrible. maybe it would've been better if they'd let the judges choose only one of the twelve youtube contestants and let the users vote in eleven. this round in general was plagued with bad acts because howie and sharon don't know what they're doing.

They should have gotten that Asian guy singing that Whitney Houston song. Also, the Evolution of Dance was the best thing I have seen in a while.

The only person I was into was the magician, hopefully he can do well.

Is there some sort of rules for working on your act? Because the first group of 4 from over a month ago have had time to rehearse for their new act, but what about the last group of 4 last week? Are they really expected to have four weeks of advance rehearsing time?

I know all of the prelims are NOT live. This is obvious because they would show clips of upcoming auditions. Im pretty sure the voting procedure is real, but then again, how would the public know if their votes are really even counting? I still believe these shows are rigged, even American Idol.

Another thing, the consecutive nights of AGT are probably one night, they look exactly the same as the night before!

So, 24 semi finalists after tonights show. That is the way it is supposed to be since it was originally supposed to be 48 acts going to Hollywood.

the magician shouldn't have been brought back this week. he should've already been in the semi-finals.

Lance Burton is on his way out, Grasso would be a fitting replacement if he keeps up with his current standard. Plus, he just has that name that screams magician.

I'm very curious about that gothic magician, he seems like he would be pretty decent...nice to see something other than traditional magic on stage.

Criss Angel, holy shit, what can I say. That act was just screaming "body double", when "Criss" went into that crate...I think he has so much money now, he just puts his name out there, he doesnt care whether or not he is being innovative or even creative.

And boy, don't be hatin' on Future Funk, they're the cutest things I've ever seen. (Not saying they should win, but I just want to see them go far so I can continue to see their cuteness!)

Criss Angel, holy shit, what can I say. That act was just screaming "body double", when "Criss" went into that crate...I think he has so much money now, he just puts his name out there, he doesnt care whether or not he is being innovative or even creative.

Thats what i put earlier in this thread...Leanne Rhimes was alright, totally different than what i remember her from. She was doing freakin stunts and turned into a dancer all of a sudden.

Yeah agreed. I'm more into David Blaine than Criss Angel personally. Criss Angel has been turning so... idiotic. I watched a newer episode of his show not too long ago and half of his tricks were stupid things like making a girl's breast size bigger... what the fuck is that?

Hilarious, IMO..but then again, i can listen to Gilbert Gottfried all day long (he was a roaster). I think this is the first time i've heard someone on TV say the Holocaust didn't happen. Gottfried said it and was hilarious.

Other than that, people were ripping on Hulk Hogan who for some reason was there. You'de just have to see it. I'm sure it will be on Comedy Central this weekend.

The biggest proof of that was last year when one of the dubmass dances for the asian piano kid unplugged his speakers...like 2 minutes of the performance was dead silent. They gave him a second chance the following week.

I already know what will happen, the girls will go far because of their story, but then put up against acts WHO BELONG in vegas, then be voted off. Its just a matter of time.

The three acts that I can see putting on a great show in Vegas are Fighting Gravity, ArcAttack, and Prince Poppycock. Poppycock is not just another singer, but a true entertainer.

disappointed by sperry, matthews, and ascendance. sperry's trick was sick, but the execution could've been much better. oh well, if all else fails, we'll still have the video of his dancing detached tongue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDmEyKuC6gg). and the one where a chick goes through his stomach (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yB0L9P9mt8).

kristina young got buzzed off and totally deserved it. wish they'd done the same thing for christina and ali. fire dude took way too long, when other magicians did the same thing almost instantly. kite kid chose a bad song, and he hasn't upped his game, either. i enjoyed seeing future funk again, but honestly, i don't think they belong in the finals.

didn't really like grimm's song choice, but that man can definitely sing.

i can't believe piers voted for christina and ali. and i thought the other two were the dimwits. though, it's america's fault he was even put in that position, if they'd only let arcattack and ascendance through, the judges vote would've been between two much more worthy acts. either way, i have no problem with grimm, poppycock, and the dancers, and it should be interesting to see matthews again.

I'm honestly shocked that the judges are still using the pity card with those two girls. If they would've told the truth Tuesday night and said they're not Vegas material people wouldn't have voted for them, but since they keep saying positive things they keep getting through. Grasso was good, but the camera cut killed it for me, it was obvious he ran behind the curtain while that gold sheet dropped down.

That little girl, i dont like little kid singers.

Fighting Gravity again was the shit, but where was the story? One dude said this act had a story...either way, they need to go bigger, and possibly lose the darkness when they do their act. They should just try the Japanese groups act, since they ripped off their entire thing anyway.

Yeah she is. She seems like a sweet girl but she has not been sounding good to me the last two performances..

I liked what he did though! It made sense! He was a old guy knocking on a dude's door who was playing loud music and he drank some drink and trasnformed into a crazy dancing machine! haha. I dunno, I like him. :shrug:

Well, overall I'm happy with who got through. I think this week totally owned last week's semi finals. I wish they'd cut it down to 5 for the finals but it seems like it's going to be 10 people competing for the end? Quite overwhelming.

So what, next week we get down to the final...5? Or maybe only 2 will make it through after next week.

I do realize it's two singers, but there's absolutely no way that Jackie is not going to be in the top 4, and Poppycock is just way too entertaining and has gotten the support of America. I think all of my choices, except Jackie, could put on an amazing Vegas show. The reason Jackie can't is because of her age. Child labor laws, plus the stress and strain on her young voice would be too much.

had my doubts about putting poppycock into the finals, but after that performance, he's definitely through. so is grasso, for that matter. fighting gravity were kind of disappointing this week, but just the nature of their act should put them through. same goes with jackie evancho. but though i enjoy both of those acts, i think michael grimm, studio one, and jeremy are just as deserving for the spots, so this is really tough. hopefully after taking that fall, anna and patryck take away some sympathy vote from christina and alli, but not too much since the dance itself was kind of a letdown as well. i wasn't really feeling taylor matthews, either.

Poppycock did some funky American themed act. I mean, he's a real damn star and he's perfect for Vegas. People loved him as always of course. However Fighting Gravity kind of bored me last night. Still a great act but meh. If they run out of exciting sets it could very well get boring.

but once i thought about it, when it came down to who i wanted to see perform again, i realized i'd rather see grimm than grasso. grasso, while he's been stepping it up every week, has essentially done the same trick over and over. still, i think grasso has a shot of making a career for himself whether he went through to the next round or not. and, i just can't get enough of grimm's voice.

kind of sad studio one didn't make it, and also sort of annoyed about just the fact that of the top four, three acts are singers. but fighting gravity, jackie, and poppycock are wholly deserving of their spots, and seeing grimm again should be interesting.

Fighting Gravity needs to do something slightly different from what they've been doing to really seal the deal.

Prince Poppycock needs to go back to foreign language songs, stick with the over-the-top theatrics but not too cheesy. If he repeats his last performance, i dont see him going to the final 2.

Which mistake was Piers referring to? I'm guessing it was when you could see the guy in black in front of the door towards the end. I didn't think much of it. They've made similar mistakes before and it's bound to happen when you have only 13 guys putting the whole act together in a week. Imagine the show with a huge budget and professional stage techs. It'd be the best Vegas show of the top 4.

piers is way too hard of a judge. sometimes. that was one of those times. fighting gravity should win, hands down.

the night just got better and better as it progressed. and that includes the return of the variety acts. never did i want studio one in the running in the finals so much, who knows what more they could've done with a full 90 second act. if only it was top 5 instead of top 4.

Its called "The Legend Hunters". Its basically a ghetto version of Monster Quest, know what im talking about?

The Ultimate Fighter is the UFC show that has a competition for a fighter to earn a UFC contract. Its set up like the Real World, as they're all in a house, they can party if they choose, but they train every day with their coaches, who are UFC fighters, then have weekly fights to see who advances.

The Ultimate Fighter has the potential to be hilarious. Its a house full of guys who literally get to beat the shit out of each other, then go back to the same house and hang out haha. No one gets sent home when they're eliminated, they just keep training.

There was a long preview of the Legend Hunters on VH1 a couple of days ago during the Video Awards, it looks so ridiculous that it has to be good.

I thought this was one of Poppycock's better performances. I thought it was stupid that Piers called his act normally "silly", so what if the guy has a serious side...that shows depth. Anyway, I thought Poppycock was awesome.

I'm torn between him and Fighting Gravity.

He's such a hypocrite (Piers). He says this competition should be judged on sheer, raw talent (thus his hard on for the pitchy opera child) but when Poppycock strips away the theatrics to show he can really throw down, talent-wise, Piers buzzes him a second before the big finish. It's so clear he wants Jackie to win, but were they listening to the same audio we were? She was all over the place on the low register and super flat towards the end. Sad the judges can't see through the cute factor...

It is a known fact that on AGT, the judges love children, who the fuck knows why. Her voice will change when she matures, so it is irrelevant how she sounds now.

Poppycock's voice is matured, and thats it, he will sound like that with no change unless its deliberate. He has so much more talent than that little girl, he puts on a show, she just stands there and doesnt move an inch during the whole thing.

If Poppycock was going to do something "different" for the finale, he should have come out with no make up.

Other than that, I'm very happy there aren't any real sob stories and pity acts. The only ones I really don't agree with were the kid singing/rap acts from last night.

How on Earth can anyone want anyone but Team iLuminate to win? This contest is about headlining a show in Las Vegas. I don't know if you've ever been to Las Vegas, but not a single act on this show other than iLuminate has a chance in hell of being a successful headlining act on the strip. Not even a chance.

part of the reason why i want Anna and Silhouettes to win more than i do Team iLuminate is because i have a feeling they won't. rooting for the underdog, i guess.

also, i know iLuminate will make the better Vegas show, but i just love Anna so much.
