Rumor was that the movie was based on the Tower Records that used to be on Sunset....same shit happend with the manager stealing cahs and hitting Vegas..the roof concert..the celeb signings...stuff like that.

Don't know if its true or not, but that's like the first thing they told me when I got hired...was to go rent it again, watch it before I started..haha
