The Forecast (http://www.the-forecast.net) has been busy in the studio working on a follow up to last year's Victory Records release Late Night Conversations with producer John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, The Ataris, Brand New). The record is expected to come out on Victory some time this summer. Immediately following recording, the band plans to hit the road for 3 weeks on their way down to SXSW in Austin, TX. Post-SXSW dates are in the works and details for that tour will be released in the coming weeks. Also, make sure to check out their website brand new website, where the band has been keeping a photo journal of their time in the studio.

love this album, i think sxsw is during my spring break. which means i will be making the trek from dallas to austin for SXSW. Im interested to see what the next record is like, hope they take some risks, the last album was good, but it was missing something. I have faith they will find out what that is.

Such a great band. Solid live show, too.

I never really enjoyed The Forecast's music.

The Junior Varsity, Spitalfield, June, Action Action. But (besides the metal/hardcore bands on the roster) practically all hope is lost from Victory Records.

jv are good dudes but for some reason that new cd just puts me to sleep, spitalfields new stuff is prbly the worst attempt at being indie ive ever heard, they were sick when they were just plain pop punk, june is the most generic band ive ever heard, and action action is the biggest dissapointment since velvet revolver, and thats a big dissapointment
