dude sorry your questions were horrible...everyone asks about influences its the most the typical questions and i never care who influenced their music.. and questions like "So you signed with EVR" or "so this is your first tour" or fav "cds of 2005" who gives a shit about what they liked, this isnt the best of 2005 list, ask about the band.."does your faith in god influence your lyrics" just something better then an ice cream question, step up the journalism.. c'mon ice cream..i dont care if it was a joke... what's with all the negativity around here...ActionReaction is a brand new band who released a very limited edition EP, just got signed to a label and are on their first tour...I think these kinds of questions, albeit very basic, are the perfect ones to ask. I know the 3 of them are veterans in the scene, but they're on to a new project and i'm sure many people want to get oriented with the new band and where they're coming from and the like.

I mean hell, in the thread where this interview was announced half the people were like "what!? jason gleason has a new band?"

p.s. what happened to all the love that was floating around the forums yesterday? i know the pro bowl sucks, but it's not THAT bad and it's not like you're forced to watch it...

At least 70% of the questions suggested by AP members were in relation to Further Seems Forever. Given that I had the entire lineup of ActionReaction present at the interview, I felt that asking strictly FSF questions would be 1) unfair to Bella and Sal and 2) counterproductive to the interview, which was supposed to be about Jason's new band.

The majority of the people here and who will read the interview have not heard of ActionReaction; if the interview allows them to become better acquainted with them and maybe develop an interest in the band, then I feel I've done my job. To ask a bunch of obscure questions about what Jason seems to regard as ancient history doesn't do much other than pick up where every single AR interview to date has already tread.

And to add to that, I made a thread (two, actually) asking for questions. I made an attempt to ask every pertinent question contained in those threads. If you had burning questions, the opportunity for you to ask them was there.

How/Why did they choose to sign with Hope divison? What were the deciding factors? Did they have other offers?

Was Bella/Salvatore involved in the sunken ship demos?

if they were, did sunken ship evolve into action reaction, why does the sound differ so much from those Demo's?

Does his faith influence his lyrics at all? but you said u could not ask that... I think thats a cowardous move on his part, He almost at times in recent and past interviews says hes a christian but hates everything christian.. its very interesting..

And Whats the need for having soo many touring musicians with you if it were just you three on the E.P

and if they say to recreate the sound on the E.P, I'd say then you prob should not have created something you could not replicate live!

those are just a few.. and maybe just maybe you should ask them what cartoon character bests describes them...because i know your a stickler for those hard hitting questions..
