Week of the Mannequin
Well, this week in the world of Jacks Mannequin there is much to celebrate. Less than 6 months from the transplant date we are enjoying the most exposure Jacks and the Everything in Transit album has received since it's release. Tomorrow (2-13-06) we will be the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel, our first late night talk show. Tomorrow also marks the official add for "The Mixed Tape Video" to the TRL voting page. I know that some of you don't love the idea of seeing a band you love on TRL, but I hope you can get passed it just this once. Whatever your thoughts are on the subject, the more exposure we get for the music the better chance we have of spreading Jack's Mannequin. It's long since been my dream reach as many people as possible with my songs and you guys have the power to help me realize this dream. If you aren't sick of me by tuseday you'll be able to catch JM on Wed. night's episode of One Tree Hill. They will air portions of performances of "The Mixed Tape" and "Dark Blue". Holiday from Real will also be played somewhere within the episode. I think we are also doing an interview with KTLA morning news for all you in the LA area, which I assume will air on Tuesday morning, but I'll try and get it posted in the news section as soon as we know for sure. Sorry for the info overload, but I just wanted to get all this stuff out there before it was too late. I must say thank you all so much for helping drive Jack's to #1 on fuse's oven fresh. This amazing internet community that has sprung up around this project has really kept Everything in Transit from disappearing from the public eye over what has been a very trying year for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Let the voting begin.

Ah, is so nice to see this taking off again, he deserves every good thing that comes his way. Not just because of the illness that he has been through (although anyone who has had to fight off something like that deserves all the good things in the world) but because he is a genuinely good guy making genuinely great music

I don't know about that.. if I remember correctly, everyone was stoked and saying pretty much the same stuff right around the time Jack's Mannequin released their first song to the public on that Drive-Thru Records comp. Not to mention pretty much everyone and their mother is a Something Corporate fan, well obviously not everyone but you catch my drift.

But still, I respect your opinion but also am thankful for your support.

I am just glad he is doing so well. It says a lot about his character that he can get through cancer and keep going. I support him 100%. Not many people would be so strong.
