where are you from, and what kind of music are you looking to make?

I live in nyc, im looking for something post/hardcore (screamo if you wanna call it that). I play guitar, i would be interested in singing as well, but im not sure how good i am, ha. some bands i like are:

sorry, i havent checked this in a while. im lookin for something post/hardcore i guess, but i dont mind things that are a little more poppish at times (nothing like yellowcard or anything). but im really desperate to get something together so at this point im not too picky, ha. what about you? im down for jamming and seeing what comes up.
